Nice to Meat You

Product design + branding artists Ptarmak (PTMK) out of Austin, Texas have created an awesome package for Honest Don’s & The Chop Shop (sorry no site). I’m not quite sure if the small Kansas City butcher shop actually exists (yet?), but this work is brilliant. My lady, Faye, brought Ptarmak to my attention, and they make super clean work, even when the client is downright bloody.

So, now that I’m hungry in an extra primal way. I’d like to share what is available in the neighborhood for well branded butchery.

McCall’s Meat & Fish Co. just opened up on Wednesday in Los Feliz and it is crowned by Urban Daddy to be the best new place to get the materials needed for an excellent feast for guests at home.

What else? Oh, yes. McCall’s is owned and operated by husband and wife top shelf chefs that have each worked in three Michelin starred restaurants.
